Subject: [DailyDialogue #240] Staying in Love

"I would rather feel heart-connected. I want a relationship where there is room for all of who I am and all of who she is."
-- Kenny Loggins
We've written on telling the truth before, and we'll probably write on it again. There are not enough ways to say that telling the truth opens us up to heart-connection and withholding the builds the wall between us.

Kenny says, "The gates of hell that I shake and rattle are locked from the inside."

I create most of our own separation, loneliness, and pain and one way I do it is by withholding my truth. When my partner begins look unattractive or get on my nerves, guess what's happened! I've separated and locked the gates on the inside.

Experiment: Using the structure of mirroring and validating, dialogue with your partner about a piece of your truth that you would probably rather not share.

Affirmation: We are heart-connected as we tell our truths.
