Subject: [DailyDialogue #153] Affirmations

"Belief consists in accepting the affirmations of the soul; unbelief, in denying them." - Ralph Waldo Emerson
Affirmations are a desired goal, stated positively as if it were true. they become more believable if we recognize the truth about our spiritual nature. The core essence of our being is Joy, Peace, Love and Wisdom. Affirmations help us connect with the spiritual qualities that are a part of our divinity.

As we repeat affirmations, we begin to act as if they are true. We find that we begin creating more of what we are affirming. Affirmations also help us get in touch with the part of us that does not believe the affirmation. This helps us let go of limiting beliefs that keep us from reaching our goals.

Experiment: Dialogue with your partner about one of your desired goals for the day. Together, develop an affirmation for each goal. Repeat the affirmation for each other throughout the day. When you notice disbelief, label the fears and continue affirming.

Affirmation: I am using affirmations to help me get in touch with my divinity.
