Subject: [DailyDialogue #112] Miracles
"The unexamined life is not worth living." - Plato
A miracle is a change in perception. As we examine our perceptions, we recognize that our judgments get in the way of our experience of love. When we rise above our limited thinking, we soar to new heights of consciousness.
Morris Massey recommends a four step process to help us shift our perception when we are experiencing change.
R - Relax (take several deep breaths)
I - Insulate (detach from your unhealthy childhood patterns)
S- Scan (search for what you have to learn from the situation)
E - Empathize (understand other's feelings and motives)
When we respond to change by rising above the situation, the results are awesome.
Experiment: Dialogue with your partner about a change you are experiencing in your life.
1) Breathe
2) Share how it is familiar from childhood
3) Identify what you can learn from the situation
4) What do you think is going on with others in the situation?
Affirmation:
I am rising above my challenges and experiencing miracles.
