Subject: [DailyDialogue #108] Perception

"However, no two people see the external world in exactly the same way. To every separate person a thing is what he thinks it is - in other words, not a thing, but a think." - Penelope Fitzgerald

What do you think about yourself? Perception is the most important source affecting our self-esteem. Since we can change how we think about things, we can build our self-esteem by changing our perception.

Assess how your thinking in these areas effects your self-esteem. What do you think about ...
1) others?
2) your work?
3) your body?
4) your day today?
5) how you use your time?
6) about your name?
7) your birthday?
8) being right?
9) people who are different?
10) your life?
11) your family?
12) your finances?
13) your possessions?
14) your education?
15) your losses?

Changing how we think about these areas of our life will build our self esteem.

Experiment: Dialogue with your partner about the above questions.

Affirmation: I love my life.
