Subject: [DailyDialogue #102]Enthusiasm
"All animals, except man, know that the principal business of life is to enjoy it."
- Samuel Butler
Enjoy comes from a Latin word translated to rejoice. As we get busy with being productive, we often forget to have fun and to laugh. Laughter works as a tranquilizer.
Today is a day of resurrection, a day of returning to life. It is a day to resuscitate our spirit, to renew our mind and body. Taking time to restore our enthusiasm is necessary to our survival. Enthusiasm comes from the Greek word entheos, meaning having the god within.
There is a vim, vigor and vitality within us that is revived when we take time out to play and spend time in nature.
Experiment: Plan a get away with your playmate today. Watch the animals and imitate them.
Affirmation: I am enjoying my life.
