Subject: [DailyDialogue #99] Truth and Validation

The opposite of a correct statement is a false statement, but the opposite of a profound truth may well be another profound truth. -- Neils Bohr
Particle or Wave?

Individual or Community?

Ultimate or Insignificant?

As we engage in dialogue, it's helpful to maintain a healthy attitude of humility. My partner could be more right than wrong. Matter of fact she is always more right than wrong. This knowledge ought to make it considerably easier for me to look for the sense in her message and to offer my confirmation of that sense. That seems to be a good foundation for my validation.

Experiment: Practice validating a position that your partner has adopted even though you don't agree with it.

Affirmation: We are seeing that mystery accompanies truth.
