Subject: [DailyDialogue #68] Play

"The true object of all human life is play. Earth is a task garden; heaven is a playground." - G. K. Chesterton
How we choose to play the game of life decides whether we experience heaven or hell. It is important that we take time every day to divert from our seriousness and have a good belly laugh with our sweetie. Life without humor would be like a broken pencil....Completely pointless.

What are your excuses for not playing? The man on television told me to stay tuned. There's a disturbance in the Force. I'm attending the opening of my garage door. I've come down with a really horrible case of something or other. I have to fulfill my potential. I promised to help a friend fold road maps. I'm trying to be less popular. I have to study for a blood test. I have to rotate my crops.

When we engage in fun and frolic without inhibitions, we re-ignite the spark in our relationships.

Experiment: Do something amusing with your playmate. Play a game, be dramatic, create a band, watch a comedy, play a recreational sport or share jokes.

Affirmation: I am creating heaven on earth.
