Subject: [DailyDialogue #30] Mission

"Mission implies that one is sent. And if one is sent, one is sent by Someone. You must deal with the subject of the Someone who gave you your mission." - Richard Bolles
What is your calling? Each of us has been called, and at times we choose not to answer the phone. As we heed the strong inner impulse toward a particular course of action, we live life with conviction.

Our mission involves sharing our gifts with the world. Each one of us has unique skills, traits and interests. At times we may have a sense that the Someone is summoning us to do something that creates a conflict with our partner.

Sometimes we get so involved with our vocation, we forget to take a vacation with our mate. When we take time out from our work world to get centered, we can tune in when the Someone speaks.

Experiment - Agree with your partner about an activity you will do today that will get you away from work. Agree not to talk about your relationship conflicts, problem solving or work during your fun activity.

Affirmation - I am on an assignment to have fun.
