Subject: [DailyDialogue #8] Intention

Whoops! I made an error and sent the 1/8 Daily Dialogue on 1/7 and numbered it #7. Soooo, I'm creating a do over. Thanks for your understanding. Eddy

"The new year is traditionally a time for setting goals and making changes in our lives that we feel will be helpful. We may or may not stay with these goals, but they give us something to work toward as well as provide a measure for our achievements." - Daily Word, Unity
To make a resolution is to make a decision, to set an intention. When we focus our attention on our intention, the universe moves to support us. In our relationships, the combined energies of sharing our intentions and believing in each other is greater than the sum of the individual intentions.

The process begins by being grateful for the significant events and achievements we have experienced in the past year. Next it involves deciding to let go of patterns of behavior that have not been serving us or letting go of issues we have had difficulty forgiving. Then we are ready to declare our intention for the new year.

Experiment - Dialogue with your partner using these questions.

Last year
1) What are your favorite memories from last year?
2) How did you see me grow last year?
3) What would you like to let go of?

This year
1) What can I do that will help you feel loved and supported?
2) What one behavior would you like me to consider adding to my life?
3) What memories would you like to create together this year?

Affirmation - I resolve to be the best I can be each moment.
