Subject: [DailyDialogue #336] Loosen the Garment
"An old woman, when asked why she was always cheerful, replied: "Well, I wear this world just as a loose garment."
from Susan Jeffers, End the Struggle and Dance with Life
I had been fretting about a design problem for several days, not really seeing a way to make a certain website inexpensive and functional at the same time. Finally, I called my customer and said something like, "I'm feeling very stuck on this job; I can't see how to do this job without building a whole grand parade here. And I know you don't want that!"
Her advice went something like, "Let go of the problem and ask for help from your angels. They will give you a way."
I agreed that help usually comes when I admit that I'm not seeing the solution and let go of having to figure it out all by myself. It wasn't more than 30 minutes later when another approach came to me.
When we're stuck with a problem, or an issue in a relationship, there is tremendous power in letting go and asking for help, whether the asking is directed towards the universe, our angels, our partner, or our higher self, and so on.
Experiment: Dialogue with your partner about a problem that has you vexed. Allow yourself to let go and ask for help.
Affirmation: As we set ego aside and ask for help, the results are amazing.
